MPs carry
by ARUN LELE on Jul 24, 2008 03:20 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

First of all how the security staff allowed the MPs to carry such big bags with them in the house ? Is there any security check of MPs or not ?
Tomorrow ,some tinted MP ( we have got many such chareacters in the present house ) may carry a gun, bomb or some weapon in the house and can creat havock.
The security laps has to improve seriously with immediate effect and the guilty in the present case need to be punished .
Bringing such case to the notice of speaker shows how common man has lost faith in the police dept. or even CBI for that matter.

One point hovers in the mind of a common man is, to how such things related with money and MP connections happen more glaringly with the BJP MPs ? Are they notorious for such fame and saleble in the horse trading market ? BJP leadership has to be more careful in selecting their candidates in future or else voters will have to make right and obvious choice.

In my opnion, this is a cryme by which hole socity has been raifed. For a simple murdae case the acused are passed through numbers of scinetific test like polygraphy etc.
In this case all consurn persons should pass that type of test including that 3 MPs and Mr.Advani

Correct! One more question arises that how come the leaders of the stature of Amar Singh and Ahmad Patel would directly contact the relatively light weights like the three MPs -- Ashok Argal, Mahavir Bhagora and Fagan Singh Kulste on such a sensitive issue as bribing. Why the MPs did not bother to nab the persons who carried the bags of cash to them and hand them over to police instead of making such a farce in the parliament itself? Would it be wrong if public doubts BJP of some malintention?

Bipin:

When CBI investigates / closes investigation / reopens investigation depending upon which party you belong to (Reference Mayawati and Mulayam's cases), you think any MP will be foolish enough to go and surrender evidence to the police?... :-)

I think you haven't ever been to a police station before...

Anyway, now that the matter has been live telecasted to the nation -- let's see what the police does, or doesn't do... :-)

Dont U read newspapers or watch TV? MPs are NOT frisked and free to take anything inside the parliament on showing their ID cards,in most cases even that is not necessary. If some MP carried a bomb and blasts.. well,U deserve it! who asked U elect such antisocials as MPs?U get what U deserve.Corruption runs in the Indian blood. Its established over n over again, for centuries now. When any foreigner can come and take over the country divided on N- number of reasons. Its a herd of 113 crores(actually much more,we cant even count properly). The current politicians are worse than the foreigners when it comes to sucking that they dont care a damn. Cos, afterall, they too are one amongst us!Of the people,by the people and screw the people! Long live Indian democracy!!

It was congress rule, so how can you expect terrorist activity at Sansad Bhawan. No security issues.
