BJP may remain more restrained
by mallaiah anchoori on Jul 25, 2008 06:24 AM   Permalink

BJP is exhibiting the courage of a goat by insisting for probe into the currency note drama in parliament on the day of vote to mudsling on Congress & give an impression that it is innocent & has no role in that while factually it appears like a last minute strategy adopted by it to diffuse the attention & catch the sympathy of some of the MPs oscillating in their decision.Well!!I am not a supporter nor a sympathiser of Congress, but what is the answer if I ask it as to whether at at all they won in Karnataka by all fair means only.75% of the independent MPs supported them were accommodated in the state cabinet.Does it not amount to indirectly bribing them with positions besides the kick backs which must have already been paid in several forms including cash?they may be raking up this point on &oft only till a probe brings out their role. They must know after the Jarkhand MPs episode during Narsimha Rao's tenure in almost similar circumstances,no sane politician likes to be caught so red handedly;certainly the CNN-IBN telecast story appears to be a concoction to gain a political mileage out of the public abhorrence & apathy for Congress it anticipates from it.The P>M has closed the issue just by saying that what all is required under the provisions of law shall be done.BJP should have remain more restrained & watch for the action of the govt.Any loose talk will only harm them & people stop taking them serious but casual as habitual complainants for every thing-bad or good.
