Watching news on a local TV channel here in the U.S.A., it appeared from the remarks by the Americans, that the deal may be already dead, and will be subject to new negotiations when the next President gets elected and the new Congress gets elected.

may be a good point. BUSH may not be risking signing an important deal like at the end of histerm and may leave to new president. Thats the exact reason why even in India, there were apprehensions for the kind of rush and speed this govt is showing to sign this deal.
The main purpose is to divert the people from the increasing price rises, increasing inflation and then trumpet itself that they tried hard to make the deal and time passed away, So give another chance so that we can sign this deal. Typical Congress high drama.

Hey dumbo, what risk is that for bush? He is leaving and usa has only to gain gain and gain. Our nation is sold. Congress is sold. People have been betrayed. Nation of Slaves. Hate India for allowing this thing to continue. We will need to blow up the parliament and start clean.

This Mr.MMS also knows. But what prompted them(CONG.)in going with the deal just before election is that they have to shift the peoples attention from internal politics and economics.
