We the people of the entire nation shall be greatful to him for his long sightedness for looking at the future of the India down the line about 10 years. But being a statesman did he have any concern on the immideate threat of the inflation which is going over the roof; food prices sky rocketing the poor man is cursing for the fate of the state. It is a humble request of the nation to check the inflation. Being so called farsighted and broad minded statesman don't you look at the poor man's sufferings. Don't say that the US Nuke deal will take care of the inflation and it will correct and cut the price rise. The lay man will laugh at you.

dharma boy, inflation is a double-edged sword, controlling it will lead to lower growth and lower growth means less jobs and more number of poor people. Similarly just looking at growth is also bad. There has to be a mix and the reaction should be appropriate. Do not forget that the crude price increase, commodity increase and huge number of poor people are all leading to inflation. It will take time. People like MMS, Chidambaram, Montek Singh, Y V Reddy are all experts. They know what they are doing.
