Quranic meaning of Jihaad stands for Karma - struggle and striving against ownself...against oppression and Injustice.

Perceived Jihaad is for liberating Islamic Lands from Western control.

I am afraid nationalist movements can never be equated to Wuanic Jihaad as Quran wants muslims to live above nationalist mindset
