The ''new'' middle class party - Congress
by Secular India on Jul 23, 2008 09:00 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Now that the middle class has deserted its favorite party "BJP" in the national interest - LK Advani must be content to write his memoirs. Mahatma Manmohan staked his political kursi so our grand children can travel in electric cars and have power 24*7. A new middle class hero has emerged. I have gone through blogs and comments on all websites - this is for the first time I am seeing that everyone WANTS a government of 4 years to WIN...despite inflation and deflating stock prices. Congress has come a long way from a US bashing "CIA under every chair external hand " party to being pro--US and pro-reform.

Rahul Gandhi sincerely supporting MMSingh was a major fillip for the govt win, subtracting on sonia's churchian agenda. But, if she continues on her old ways and MMS is not allowed to recostitute ministry for better admn, the people will reject the UPA in the next year's election. Advani should also get rid of crypt-chr elements in the BJP/NDA who have been covertly guiding it to defeat. Eternal vigilance is the price for real freedom, success and progress.

Will you explain why you have withdrawn your actual name and used a pseudonym? What you understand by secularism. Are you preapred to call the USA a secular country which opposes non-Christians and where it is mandatory for the President to be a (Roman Catholic) Christian to hold that office?

Also in Britain Church of England plays a very key role in the state affairs. Are you prepared to call UK a secular country? To remind you also Clinton was excused of his sin of debauchery because he confessed in the Church.

UK is not a secular country and that is why it is in such a mess due to multi-culturism as it tries to balance between Christianity and appeasement of Islam. France certainly is secular and so are many European countries where belief in god is very rare. US is also not a secular country to the extent it should be as it is based on judeo-christian principles and was formed in the name of god - which is the christian god. We don't have to follow either.

And you are wrong on the Roman Catholic bit - the Americans are Protestants and elect mainly protestants. Only JFK was a catholic. So I suppose - Mr Ganguli - your knowledge just shows.
