My only question to P.N.Lekhi,senoir advocate is as to whether at all Somnath could have entered LokSabha eventually to get elected as Speaker of the House had he not got elected as M.P on the party ticket of CPM.It would have been all together a different thing had he been an independent got elected sheerly on his personal image.Lekhi's saying that he ceases to be an MP after his election as speaker is some thing like a sons being not a son to his mother after he grows & occupies an important position.One can and should never-ever forget the roots.

Sorry, but, this is not Mr Lekhi's personal opinion,but an interpreatation of the 'Law' by Mr Lekhi.

what I mean is the interpretation of Mr Lekhi only as an advocate.Even the interpretation denotes the thought process of an individual.Therefore, there no impropriety involved when I say that Lekhi was wrong.

that could be the only difference between mother and son and a political party and its member. But I support CPM as SC has actually acted high-handedly and deserve a disciplinary action of this kind. Now parliament is not in session; otherwise a no-confidence motion could unseat him and that would be real constitutional crisis as so many MPs are expelled from their party violating the whip; so does SC has the necesary authorities of a speaker to take the decision of throwing them out of Loksabha?
