Why should an MP be compelled to follow a part whip? I feel he should on what he thinks is the best for people in his constituency.

For anybody to take their own decision, He/she has to be an independent. otherwise, follow ythe party line.

Then let him contest as an independent and fight elections and win. He should not use some party's symbol and ask for votes. Now, do you agree the difference between an independent MP and party MP?
