BJP Slams UPA - Its a case of
by jamsheed basha abumohammed on Jul 24, 2008 10:29 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Parliament recently witnessed some unprecedented episodes etched deep in the memory of he people. It witnessed a bizarre situation when 3 BJP MPs shamelessly brandishing wades of currency notes in full public glare of the cameras beaming out messages all over the world, purported to have been given as a bribe by Amar Singh to cross vote much to ; It also witnessed cross voting and absentention by BJP, Sena, BJD and SAD MPs openly defying the party dikta. It was infact a slap on the face of these parties for their projected stand against the popular Nuke deal. It showed that the parties which were cadre-based supposed to be well-knit well-disciplined failed to hold their own flock till the voting. This shows the MPs have come of the age, did exactly what they felt right much to the delight of the UPA and misery of their respective party. BJP expelled followed by others. But what is the use of locking the stable after the horse was stolen. BJP, Sen and others would never recover from the shock of desertion, absentention, defection by its own flock. Now that the UPA has won the vote of confidence,it can move ahead with the deal as the majority favoured it.The real show was stolen by two young Muslim MPs one was Abaduddin Owasis fo MIM and Omar Abdullah of NC.Both these young MPs won the heart and soul of the entire Muslim community of India with their power packed speech in the Parliament. The frankness with which they spoke took everyone by surprise compared to past docile MPs.

We all know who are those MPs. Your memory must not be so short to forget about one BJP MP who indulged in human trafficking. Lot of hue and cry were raised by all parties on that matter, and BJP expelled the concerned MP promptly and disowned him. Now the very same MP has been bribed by UPA to vote for them and they are talking about political morality! Can you justfy Man Mohan seeking help from this MP who was indulged in human trafficking and other three or four MPs who have come straight away from Tihar jail to cast vote in favour of UPA. What governance this opportunitist group can give to country is anybody's guess. It is an open fact that Sibu Soren was bribed by earlier congress PM PV Narasimha Rao in similar situation to win the trust vote. He has been accused of murder of his PA. This very man is going to be a Minister very soon. Pappu Yadav, Shahubuddin all will get their due share. The very police offiers who handcuffed them will have salute them shortly. But MMS and people like you are happy that the government survived. That is more important than anything else. Is not it?
