If he did not take the bribe, how could he show the wads of cash in Parliament? In fact, he is double-dishonest. 1. He took bribe. 2. He betrayed the briber.

If someone giving money to prove they will give more money if you will vote a certain way does not mean that he was bribe. He was seeing if a person was willing to give bribe, in fact such testing could be used to catch a scondrol without becomeing one of them.
