MP Bribery

No political party is free of wheeler-dealers. The difference is only of degree. Some are more and some are less. I have been interestingly observing the political scense since partition days. I still feel that of all the political parties, Congress is still a bet, though not totally free of frailties. BJP or earstwhile Jansangh was to be reckoned with prior to Babri
Masjid incident for its commitment and determination. Till then it had leaders of stature but not now. Even the regional and sectarian parties that have come up in the last few decades are essentially for wheeling-dealing and have little or nothing to do with national interesst. They all are ready to undue what Sardar Patel did by Uniting the different States at the time of Independence. GOD save the Union of India in days to come.
