All the pro Indo-US Nuclear deal politicians should answer to the following questions.
1) How Hyde Act does not apply to nuclear
commerce with India alone, when it is
applicable to all other nations in the world?
2) Is there any specific mention in Hyde Act
adopted by the American Senate exempting
India specifically?
3) Why does the Indian leadership press for a
hasty and hurried signing of 123 Agreement
with the US?
4) Can you not imagine an international treaty
without Americans?
5) How safe and foolproof Nuclear Energy is in
light of the global experience of 3 mile
Island and Chernobyl?
6) Why do you want to depend on Uranium based N
Power Plants only, when the domestic
resources have been extremely weak and
unreliable?
7) By signing an agreement with the
US, are you committed to buy their
technology and plant at the price and cost
dictated by them?
8) Why don't you develop Thorium based Nuclear
technology domestically alternatively to
costly Uranium based one?
7) By promoting Uranium based process, will not
our dependence to America be consolidated?
8) How disastrous a Nuclear Radiation by virtue
of the used fuel disposal and in the event
of an accident while learning from the
history of human scientific experience is
concerned?
9) Why American Government has been
persistently pressurising their Indian
counterparts to push the deal?
10)Why
