Guys do u know US today only produces 20% of electricity from Uranium, It cost it 2cent/KWH, Now it has stopped further resrerch in Uranuim & shifted to Hydrogen & also it passed a budget of 2b$ for reasech on Hydrogen which it thinks it will cost them only 1.5cent/KWH. Also it will generate Hydrogen in abundent quantity which it want to sell in the market to run the vehicles.
Do by Nuclear Deal we will get this technolgy also, or we get only the obsloute uranium technoly.
source:world-nuclear.org/info/inf41.html,,,I think this will satisy all your queries.

What does it matter what US produces! US produces 1000 different things in million other areasd, doesn't mena it should give everything to everyone. The are not there to do charity! Look at the offer on the table and how much it is in all parties interests- that's all you should be concerned about.

I dont know much about the nuke deal, what India is getting shuld be consitent. Uranium supply is limited. Thats why US is shifting from Uranium to Hydrogen, What I want to to say there should be a clause in the deal for the latest technoly on the date. If not whats the use of the deal,?

Friends India has Thorium in abomdand. But it alone can't generate power. As its a stable element and to make it unstable we need uranium. Now one chain reaction can go for very long.Ya one problem is the desposal of the waste but that we can handle.Deal will definitely help India. Why left is opposing is simply because their aka in China dont want to see India having the access to easy Nuclear energy.NDA is opposing because to bring the govt down and they are feeling bad as their baby is being named by someone else.BSP,JDS etc opposing just to grap power.

well it is what it is, take it or leave it! US or for that matter any country or even you and I will always look out for themselves first. As long as this deal is benefitting all parties involved, there is no harm.
