Whatever happened in the parliament and outside parliament in the last 2 days, it was the biggest defeat of democracy ever.
Our 541 parliamentarians(including the PM) did not leave any stone unturned to tell the world that we are among the most uncivilized, unmannered and uncultured people in the world. Mr Manmohan Singh, the gentleman, stooped to use the worst methods and criminals to win this trust vote. He took support from convicts for murder, rape, anti national activities to win this trust vote. Everyone saw how the Govt bought out the speaker who sided with the government for two days. There will be astounding compromises in the coming days.
Mr Singh may consider him the winner, Democracy is the loser.

I totally disagree. However, doubtless some of our MPs don't deserve to be in Parliament, and it is for the young generation to ensure this in future. As for Barrister Somnath Chatterjee, he was a treat to watch, being in his elements and he has set an example for future Speakers!

Who compelled Dr. Singh to impose emergency in Bihar after the state election over horse trading charges just 2 years back? If he had any morals - he shouldn't be doing what he did, despite left pulled the support. You may whine in his favor - a wrong is a wrong. It was wrong to lie to the president, while on foreign soil, and cry about the worst kind of horse trading - and do the same when he is in shit like position. By asking and taking the favors from the Jailbirds he lost his reputation... Its upto you - man - to accept it or not! World Saw It, and History will be written stating that.
