Consequences of US nuclear deal: RECOLONISATION
by begumfatema on Jul 22, 2008 09:00 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Electricity prices will actually GO UP because the water to cool nuclear reactors will have to be diverted from rivers depriving our farmers and our food security. Not only that, our hydroelectric plants will now become totally sick units. Our indigenous thorium-fuelled reator program will be killed despite thorium being abundant in Kerala. India is slipping into slavery once again. Most of the people discussing things here do not understand anything at all. They are soon going to become slaves and they don't even realise it. Even if they see US military bases here and US Army tanks patrolling the metros, our Indian middle class youth will watch IPL cricket matches on TV and enjoy. They will soon be told that US troops are here in India to "protect" them from terrorism and they will ACTUALLY believe it. So they will welcome US troops and US military bases in India. The stupidity and ignorance of the majority has become democratic wisdom in India. Welcome to RE-colonisation my countrymen. Welcome to slavery. Welcome to 1946. Keep on enjoying saas bahu serials and cricket. And learn your politics and history from Hollywood movies and Western pulp fiction novels. This is excatly what you deserve.
