Such claims cannot be proved unless these MP's have made out a tape while accepting the money. It may so happen that these MP's may have to prove the source of the money and may get in trouble themselves.

You are absolutely right. What stops any inveterate moron from displaying some of their OWN cash and claiming that X or Y has given them that? They may order a full investigation ... but as it usually happens in India, nothing much will come out of it either way. Incidentally, my hunch is that this is our lady M's strategy. She's good with these things.
