Disclaimer: I am not in favour of any party..I am just applying some logic to the events..its only my personal opinion and anyone may want to differ from it can do so....without being abusive
In my view this may be a plot by BJP. Consider the following points:
1. BJP wanted to delay the voting by one day.It had asked the speaker for postponement of voting. However, the speaker didn't grant them the wish. So, they have benefits if the voting is delayed due to all this confusion.
2. I might have thought otherwise if the alleged BJP MPs would have been caught red handed taking bribe. Obviously, BJP will not like to sacrifice its own precious numbers at this moment. However, thi is not the case..it were these BJP MPs only who brought in the money into the house alleging that SP had tried to "buy" them. they have not got their image tarnished..but have added few more stars to their image..So this can be a show put up by BJP.
3. According to Mr. L K Advani, he allowed to bring the money into the house.. How and why?? Is he empowered enough to do so?? How can the security let him do so??
Now lets see the consequences and benefits to BJP.
1. If UPA wins the vote, there will always be a doubt about the authenticity of the voting.. gr8 benefit for BJP as elections are anyways due next year
2. If UPA losses, it will the biggest point..and a big matter "afresh" in the voters' mind....too goood for BJP
3. It has given an indirect warning to its rebel MPs....now they

see..I had humbly requested you not to be abusive even if you want to differ
As a citizen of India, I have got every right to put forward my opinion..and you have legeally got no right to abuse me for that.
I have just mentioned a possibility..this is politics...anything can happen here.
Anyways, what you have mentioned is right...what happened at the time of Narsimha rao was bad for Indian poilitics..but this time?? this time its not bad..it is a DISASTER!!
Think about it.. if UPA has actually done this...and even if its a plot by BJP...ultimately you and me and the whole world has seen today the level to which our politics have fallen.
Its not about who is who's chamcha, my frnd, it is about the state of the politics in India...something all of us Indians should be ashamed of.
And BTW..just to clear your doubt about my loyalities..please read my disclaimer that I have already given in the original message... I am prbably few of those rare breed of indians left who vote in the actual sense of voting..after listening, reading and weighing different party canditates...not on the basis of caste, creed, nationality.
But honestly speaking..I guess Im also going to abstain from voting, from now onwards..its a shame for all of us...so for me it will probably be clause no. 49 from now onwards according to which you can abstain from voting if you don't think any candidate is fit enough to win..if more than 50 % ppl go for this then re-elections are declared for t

Hi Moni, u r right. Any way UPA is going to succeede here with money power. But they cannot conquer people's mind and surely going to be defeated during next election. If they dont want to be the victim, eventhough they are confident of getting trust vote, MMS to tender his resignation immediately. If not, SP,Mulayam and Amar is going to do back seat driving, which will be bigger punishment than when they were with left. Left had ideology, but SP has only business mind and also to get the cases agaist their leaders written off. B rgs Viswambharan, Bangalore.

I agree with you PS...I still don't expect anything this downmarket job from a person like MMS...but I won't be shocked it someone told me its SP's doing
What a shame...these people who say they are our leaders..have actually done something like this.
It will be a bigger disaster if the country is forced into election at this point of time..when the rate of inflation is already so high..so are the petrol rates.....wasting so much money on elections will be too bad..anywyas as per historical trends prices go up during election times due to shortage of fuel etc.
What a pity for a country like ours, which is strong candidate to become a superpower

Really, these are Sonia's chamchaas, jaichands of India named moni seths. When Narsimha Rao bribed, it's proven in the court that money was deposited in the account but Supreme court took a wrong decision that it's OK and nothing can be done legally even if it's being bribed. If It's a plot by BJP, they will have to answer, nobody will do it without some evidence. Let's wait you mor*n. Giving Congress a clean chit when they are involved in all kinds of deals is shameful.
