The writer quotes UP as the largest state, is it true?

It is in terms of population - 18 crore. This is 1/6 of India population and 60% of US population.

Yup thats sums up for development of UP under SP or Maya. Only growth- in population, illitracy, infant mortality, installation of idols and memorials for people alive, crime rate and black money... We need such a growth right... I am sure it exceeds 8% - 9%.
