Why suddenly? SAARC meeting is an excuse. They are trying to buy time when facing adversary.This is usual for them.

I think Rajapaksa should accept this offer to minimse deaths of innocents in both sides. i dia and norway must pressurise him to do so. whatever the reason, LTTE has now offered olive branch. Anyway, even a bad peace is better than a good war.

The LTTE terrorists have time and again used the so called 'truce' to buy time to cause more damage.

Well, thankfully the Sri Lankan Government has sensibly rejected the truce, which is nothing but a hoax.
