i dont know why everyone is focused on indo - us deal. US made it clear that it wont happen unless we sign with IAEA.IAEA is the nuclear watch dog of UNITED NATIONS (UN).safeguard is authorised to inspect any country who violate NUCLEAR PROLIFERATION TREATY which was signed by all couuntries except india, pakistan and israel, and these 3 countries posess nuclear weapons. Now when we go and sign with IAEA,which comes under npt treaty, its sure going to be bad for india.the IAEA safeguard agreement is around 24 pages and npt is just 5 page document. Now the safeguard agreement is much more complicated than for npt signatories.why is the government very keen to sell india for some money????

check ur facts.. NPT does not fall under the IAEA. The Indo-US nuclear deal is outside the purview and stands as an exception to the NPT. we need not sign the NPT.

The Hyde Act 123 built into the Safeguards Agreement/N-Deal is an exception to India directly signing the NPT and CTBT. Please understand this. Also after IAEA governors accept the Safeguards Agreement India's reactors will be under their inspection purview
