I can never imagine that a leader of Karat stature can stoop so low ?Just to fulfill his ego he has employed all his energy and I think he will have to resign himself after fiasco of his Mission Manmohan Singh. Even I forsee a verticle division among the ranks of CPI(M) like that of sixties.

Speaker also remains a party man, as can b seen in former Speakers like Sangma, Joshi (Shiv Sena), Shivraj Patil (Congress) etc. So there is no point in saying that Somnath should not resign bcz he no longer belongs to CPM.

keep dreaming, silly boy singh. what did you think central comitee was??? It has overwhelming numbers from west bengal. And the central committee order was unanimous.
Time for jyoti basu to get going anf let the younger folk like buddhadeb to take care of things.
