Why blame politicians it is we the people who elect them. We have put pourselves to shame by electing them there is no point in blaming the politicians.

Let us too take some responsibility for this situation. MOst of us talk so high & loud about all these but at the time of election instead of going by the party/candidate's credential what we keep in mind is the caste/religion of the candidate. Democracy is dangerous for country like us where literacy level is so low.
