At last some defeat for the Maoists in Nepal is good. Equidistance from India and China seems to be the fashionable mantra for every Nepalese these days like 'secularism' is the mantra for most Indian politicians. No Nepalese seems to have the guts to say that 'hell with China, we will embrace India'. The ambivalent attitude of Indian governments is the reason behind it. Let us hope that wiser sense prevails some day which will bring India and Nepal closer, push all communists of Nepal out of power and reckoning and put China in its place.
