1)Will the Nuclear deal bring down the Unit charge of Electricity in our country? 2)Will there be uninterupted supply of Electricity? 2)Will it bring down the prices of all the products or it will keep on increasing like nowadays? If the answer is YES Congress is right, if not then Left parties are right. Another thing Ithink we must think that if we do nuclear deal and use Nuclear fuel then how much it would affect the atmosphere.

The energy addition is just 10% of total after a decade or more depending upon the time of completion of projects. There will be unsolicited delays created by 'special interests'. Total cost of the project will be around 3 lakh crores which will be invested in twenty years. The Indian financial system can not absorb such huge investment for such a short period which will create unprecedented inflation beyond imagination. Taking into account the cost addition due to decommissioning the unit price will be Rs40/- for the energy generated by the nuclear plants. The question of uninterrupted supply is doubtful. The system condition after 20 years depend heavily on other sources of supply. Unless there is a proportionate addition from other sources there is no guarantee about uninterrupted supply. The damage to the atmosphere is irreparable!! Radiation hazard is the most important aspect to be considered.

I think we can rather use unconventiional modes of energy production like wind, solar and tidal. THis would only cost a fraction of the costs involved in the nuclear plants as well as it would be enviornmental friendly and will cause no immidiate health or enviornemnt problem or polution o the enviornment. Thanks. Wots ur opinion guys n gals/
