All the four years this old man was troubled all parties alike. They made him the Speaker, never allowed him to speak, never obeyed his orders, never obliged him by allowing the House to function peacefully, always rushed to the well of the House, shouted slogans, created all sorts of nonsense. He bore it all with patience. Now is his time. He will not listen to anybody - will not resign from Speaker's post and disobey Leftists. Will not support the UPA led Government. He may perhaps will not allow the House to function on the D-Day. Or, who knows, it may all be a part of bigger conspiracy, to withdraw support in public, then on the voting day create chaos in the House for some reason and this time the reason being Somnath Chatterjee functioning as Speaker. The Speaker will not resign and the Left will not allow the House to function! What a great Idea. Let us watch the tamasha taking place at crores of rupees of public money!
