Although I heartily dislike Mr Somnath Chatterjee because of his communist antecedents, I would like to point out: (1) The speaker has a vote only in the case of a tie. (2) I don't think he will need work from the Congress. He may become an ambassador or governor, but the poossibilities are remote. If it is just money that he wants to earn, there are many ways of doing so.
