balaord , may i ask u a simple question ? Do u consider urself to be a muslim or an Indian first ? And as for the so called so called Islamic contribution please rephrase it as Arabic contribution . And Did u know that Arabs were mostly traders and during that times they had a strong relationship with "Hindse" now India . And because of their strong connection they were able to take alot of advancements made by Indians and present it to europe . yes it's true that they helped europe but all those advancements were not their own but taken from either India/China . The biggest example i can give is the so called arabic numerals which was developed in India and adopted by arabs as it was easier for'em to calculate when they were trading using 0-9 .

You have a certain brainwashed misconception about muslims...please note ...muslims around the world are capable and will always be capable of shaking world super powers and largest economies...about the swords and daggers yes ..but again those were the people who subdued the super powers of those days..read about islamic history and you will be free from misconception that muslims are or were just a handful rouges.

It seems you have not read the article clearly. And anyway there are no muslim leaders who are opposing the deal. Like mentioned above it is only CPI and Mayawati mentioning that muslims are against the deal. The deal if opposed shouldbe opposed if it is anti-india and not because US is taking part in it. If it good for the country then it is good for all of us. Politics and relion and personal ego should not be part of it.

Mr. vspi- Read some history on the evolution of modern science and you may then be relived of your appaling ignorance!!!
It is Islam which laid the foundations of modern science and took Europe out of its dark ages. You can learn this from authentic european or american sources itself.
