The SECULAR is a meaningless word in India. One way or the other ALL ARE COMMUNAL from the bottom of heart. Let it be politicians, religions / communities. The problem comes when too much Communal Card is pumped into the religious stream. Some people are cleaver to to take advantage of this weakness. Some of the religions are easily ignited by these so called religious mafias.
In 2006, Tamil Nadu’s DMK government ordered that cases be dropped against 12 Muslim fundamentalists, all followers of Kichaan Buhari, an Al Umma sympathizer and key accused in the Coimbatore serial blasts.
Cases were registered against the 12 in 2000 and 2001 under IPC Sections 153 A (promoting enmity or hatred between different religious communities) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy).
This shows the extent of Minority appeasement policies of government in India, who wish to fight against Internal fundamentalist and Pakistan sponsored terrorism. But they prefer to help the accused instead and allow them to go scot free so that they can plan their terror again.
On the same lines Kerala Government also passed a resolution earlier supporting the main accused in the Coimbatore bomb blast.
