nuclear tests
by Vikram on Jul 19, 2008 03:10 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

India can use computer simulations to conduct test results instead of relying on actual ground tests. This process is being followed by most of the nuclear weapon carrying nations for more than 15 years. India tested in 1998 along with Pakistan. Recently North Korea tested a nuclear device and many other nations like it will line-up for testing nuclear devices if India doesn't change it's stance. Among them will be Iran, Saudi Arabia and possibly Bangladesh in faraway future with Pakistan doing it frequently, along with some rubbish nations around the world blaming the reason for their tests on India. India should refrain from such tests and maintain some dignity when it is about to be a superpower. Nuclear deal is a good deal and it can only enhance Indian capabilities.

Who has given you this weird idea??....

Computer simulations are NOT the answer to everything..... Maybe you should think about producing electricity through Computer Simulation?>.. ;-)

dear vikram
I fully agree with you when u say we can simulate on computers. Good but dear please undestand that to simulate also we need primary data. Are countries with primary data willing to share with the countries who do not have the data? Will US or any nuclear countries give the data to us? Please think.

Maybe the Russians will share it with us for some price. On the other hand, why can't the previous results be used for new simulation according to the proportions of nuclear devices tested in both the cases? But still, India can get the raw data if it's intelligence agency is active.
