Mr Shahid Siddiqui comes from a family which has its fingers in every pie. He has brothers and sisters by the dozens and they are equally distributed in Congress, BJP, BSP, SP and CPM, etc.
Earlier, he was a professed leftist. But now he is a hardcore rightist (read money). His son studies in US, and works in a US MNC. He has huge properties. Shahid's favourite city is New York and he has visited it many times.
In fact, what you see and what he does, are two different stories altogether. Fundamentally, Shahid loves MONEY and COMFORT. But, his pretentions are leftism, islamism, etc.
He is not exactly a GUTTER QUALITY politician..just read him as self-centred who has no compunctions on national issues.

Ashok..you have been too mild in your words..Siddiqui is a gutter quality politician..Cant imagine this other guy Sibu Soren...a murder convict voting for Nuke deal which I am sure he has no clue about....being invited by Mr.Manmohan for a private dinner...
