People of India deserve this and much more. When you choose and send scoundrels as your representative, you cannot expect honesty from them. Let this be an eye opener to one and all and choose the right candidate atleast from the coming election onwards. Else dont blame the country and its systems. Dont blame the vehicle when it is not running.

Well said, it is not the problem with system. It is the problem with people who vote for any criminals for a piece of chicken and quarter bottle of liquor

Very well said, I also wanted to say the say that Indians are hypocrite...Now I see everywhere ppls are shocked about MP on sale in 25 Cr...I want to ask them, how many of them have not taken any bribe in their life,I dont think that I will get more then 10% ppl in india who are Honest(if they reply honestly),so when u yourself is not honest then you dont have any right to question anybody;s credibility....We say that ALL politicians are corrupt...No some are there who are not corrupt, but they can not become an MP,as they can not give liquor bottles are money during election and thus they can not become an MP...so onus left on us not THEM for this situation... There is one very good proverbs in Hindi that perfectly suits to us Indias "Jab Boa ped babool ka to aam kaha se hoye"....

the proverb in english goes like - as you sow so you reap.
For your information, corruption starts from the common man. He has time to stand in queue to get cinema ticket but has no time to stand at railway booking counter. He has time to wait at the hotel/bar but has no time to stop at traffic signal. His unnecessary wants have increased and to possess it, he looses his morality. Till people realise their misdoings, nothing can get changed.

Democracy is good for a country where voters are educated and i would say democracy is the least suited one for a country like India.
