Shame on you

Mr Bidwai, I have lost all respect for you now.

No political party in this country has any scruples. So why talk who is right or wrong. The entire sequence of events only frustrated the ONLY STRAIGHT leader of our country at present. Even he had to buckle under their opportunistic stance and try to pay them back in their same coin. All is fair in love and politics!

As far as the Nuclear deal per se, NO country can get an easy passage to get the right to possess them. None, and definitely not in today's world. You have to give some to get some. That does not mean you have to be subservient. When the time comes for nuclear Commerce with India being the buyer, the suitors for her business will be many. If even without the safeguards the business thrives on the black market, imagine when you have a legally authorized buyer with a huge order book to dole out. That is the time for the Indians to strike the 'best interest' deal it wants. The Communists should have tried to control the Govt at that stage by ensuring a strict process under an agency independent of Govt interferance.

The Communists got it all wrong under the leadership of the 'hot under the collar' Karat.

I wish the Govt scrapes through and goes ahead. It would also give them all the opportunity to push through all the stalled economic reforms in the bargain.
