India is always late in the global affairs.We opened our economy in 1991 and now we pat ourselves of economic development.See China which opened its economy in 1980s and where it is today! Likwise,China is fast settingup several nuclear plants and opened global tenders for the same and our Leftist parties are happy that china is developing on the power front and it should become a super power.But with continuous short supply of power and with several powercuts in all the cities and villages,they want indian homes to still use kerosene lanterns.Likewise they are happy with China's prosperity which exports the manufactured products globally,through power generated from chinese nuclear power plants and they are blindly opposing the nuclear deal for India,which allows setting up new power plants. One wonders whether the Leftist parties are really Indian? I think next time when I go to Delhi, I must spend some time to verify their address with the Election Commission!
