Here is the Opportunity:Increase in Nuclear production from 2.6% to 5.5% of the total power production after 20 years and after spending $120 Billoin not including the seperation costs. This deal is all about bringing India under the control of Security Council before India can lobby hard for permanent membership. Ones this deal is signed, India has to compromise on many Business dealings with the members of the security council including China. Ms. Sonia is even ready to die in AP to get this deal through as that was her final and only assignment. After all Rajiv was sacrificed to Anton Balasingam to get her to power through simpathy.

Do you u/s meaning of security council? India will be under IAEA watch dog not security council. Security council is for taking a common stand on any war or security issue. It can allow or stop countries to go to war on common cause. It does not stop, allow or restrict u to do business till it is creating a security concern for a country. By doing nuclear trade with other countries India is not threating security of any country or attacking on it.
