How is voting done in US by the politicians?
by QandA on Jul 18, 2008 03:05 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

The voting by Senators in US is based on their own thinking and can be across the party line..

IT IS VERY COMMON IN USA TO VOTE AS PER YOUR OWN MIND AND NOT AS PER THE PARTY HIGH COMMAND. THE DEMOCRATE CAN VOTE FOR A BILL SPONSERED BY A REPUBLICAN AND VICE A VERSA..

It's only MORONIC INDIA where if you don't show a majority vote on an issue the Government falls down....

If MPs can vote the way they want in India, then money will play a huge role.
