Elsewhere history repeats after a century or so as Presidential elections in USA. In India they say the periodicity is a decade or so like 10 year ritual called PAY COMMISSION for Central Govt employees Security Forces and others which keep the poor employees on tenterhooks with hardly satisfying results.
