N-DEAL....
by Rakesh Sharma on Jul 18, 2008 01:02 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

FIRST OF ALL THE RELEVANT QUESTION IS, IS NUCLEAR ENERGY (AT THE COST OF NATIONAL SECURITY!) THE ONLY SOLUTION TO OUR ENERGY WOES?

WHAT HAS CONGRESS BEEN DOING FOR THE LAST FIFTY YEARS ON ENERGY FRONT? WHY THIS SUDDEN SPREAD OF CANARD THAT N-DEAL IS THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR OUR ENERGY WOES?

N-ENERGY WHICH IS ABOUT 2.5% MAY INCREASE TO ABOUT 5% (AS REPORTED BY US SCIENTISTS AND CAN BE VERIFIED AT THEIR WEBSITES) EVEN AFTER THIS MUCH PUBLICISED N-DEAL.

DO THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY KNOW WHAT FORM OF ENERGY USA PROPOSES TO HAVE FOR ITS FUTURE? ..NON CONVENTIONAL ENERGY LIKE SOLAR AND WIND.

WHICH ARE THE COUNTRIES THAT HAVE MAXIMUM POTENTIAL IN SOLAR AND WIND? ...COUNTRIES IN AFRICAN AND INDIAN SUBCONTINENTS..

OF COURSE NUCLEAR ENEREGY IS GOOD FOR INDIA. BUT NOT WHEN THE N-DEAL IS DRAFTED IN ITS PRESENT FORM WHICH IS A THREAT TO OUR SECURITY.

THE CONGRESS HAVING FAILED IN ADMINISTRATION, HAVING FAILED TO STOP FARMERS SUICIDES, HAVING FAILED TO CONTROL THE PRICES AND HAVING FAILED TO CHECK THE RISE OF BJP, IS BANKING ON JUST ONE THING NOW. IT WANTS TO JUST DEFAME THE BJP AND ITS OPPOSERS AS ANTI-NATIONAL. BUT THE TRUTH THAT THE BJP HAS LAID THE FOUNDATION STONE OF THIS DEAL. EVEN IF THE CONGRESS ENTERS THE N-DEAL, THE BJP WILL GET ITS SHARE OF CREDIT. BUT THE CONCERN REGARDING THE COUNTRY'S SECURITY REMAIN. CONGRESS HAS FAILED TO RESPOND AND CLARIFY THE DOUBTS OF THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY. THEY HAVE TURNED THIS DEAL INTO A POLITICAL WEAPON....

Hi Krishna Kanth, first of all you need to understand that this deal does not stop India from producing the nuclear weapons. The other thing is India want power, which is need of every Indian. In my house we get 12 hrs power cut and guess that is the case in almost all villages. Look at the productivity of industries it’s gone down drastically in past few years. Look at the farming sector, every farmer need power, look at the terrible condition of farm and villagers. Guyes, as far as weapons concern, I don’t think it is the need of time. Today if India has any reorganisation in the world is not because of its nuclear capabilities but its industries, education, farming and economic growth. I do understand we need nuclear capabilities to produce the weapons but it is not the need of time. I am BJP supporter, it does not mean I can support blindly, need to understand micro economics of the policies. Also note no one in India is ready for election at present moment because of big issues like inflation, farmer death, poor monsoon, and poor economic growth. If BJP would have been in power, they would have been in favour of deal they are opposing it just because they want to be in government at the cost of poor and miserable people. The way Congress had handled the economic situation; I don’t think BJP can handle it.
BJP was in power, what did they do? if you look at the performance of the governments, where BJP in power you will notice the difference, Gujarat- Godh
