India should remain secular - All Secular parties unite
by jamsheed basha abumohammed on Jul 16, 2008 04:15 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

India is a secular country and would remain so for ever whatever designs or tricks the communal forces play. When a predominent Muslim Turkey could be a secular country, why not India which inhabitat near 25% Muslims and other minorities. The founders of this great republic would lived and died for the sake of secularism. BJP and safron brigades would never be able to alter the basic structure of the Constitution. Congress and Left have stood for secularism all these years. PM's yet another master stroke of cancelling the proposed briefing of the IAEA members, is an attempt towards consolidation of the secular forces. Now the Left would have rethinking on the whole issue. It would not let this Govt fall particularly when the meeting was cancelled. This would safisfy the Left and others who opposed the deal. May there is a rethinking among the UPA and allies and they would have cautioned against the growing strength of the communal forces. That is why such a step was taken. If not, Govt have come to a conclusion seeking Trust vote is no use when the odds are against them. This may be the undercurrent for such a decision to withdraw briefing. May be this or that was the reason. In any case, this Govt would not fall on account of Nuke deal alone. Muslims are supportive of the deal and some parties trying to communalise it without getting any survey on the choice of Muslims over this issue. Muslims for all counts would any agreement that is taken in the national interest as Indians.

Thats the problem buddy, Turkey in next 10 years will be an islamic ccountry with first Hijabs and then Burquaas, dont u read the news, Wahabis from Saudi dont belive in anything but Political Islam and u along with others are just a PAWAN in their BIG GAME. Just like BJP makes PAWNS of Hindus and Saffron brigade tries to "CORRECT the WRONG". Its an endless battle, but i would say no matter what atleast SAUDI and TURKEY has more people living in better economical conditions than India/ Paksitan/ Afghanistan !!! Talk of it buddy dont be a PAWN !!!
