Its a simple arithmatic issue. Congress/UPA has to appoint a new speaker, which will cost them one valid vote(as speaker can vote only in case of a tie). Not only that, those who oppose nuclear deal will get one more vote to topple the Government. Touch situation for congress. Amarsingh is more worried as his MPs may not get 25 crores if UPA loses the Government. Thats why he wants to meet the speaker.
