BJP SHOULD SPEAK & SUPPORT N/DEAL
by shyamal kanti das on Jul 15, 2008 11:15 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I think we should agree that excepting a few people in this country , NO ONE is actually understand the details or brief about Nuclear Deal.
In our life, we got very few good Hon'ble President of this country. When Dr. A.P.J. Kalam ji is in favour , we foolish people should not make hue and cry.
BJP' s role is not coorect in this present situation, If BJP is opposing this deal for the sake 'CHAIR', then it is not a mature policies in politics.
I hope all central leaders of BJP should not behave like " AAG MARKA COMMUNIST " WHO OPPOSE USA BUT SEND THEIR CHILDREN TO USA FOR STUDY, JOB. THAT TIME THEY EVEN FORGOT THE NAME OF CHINA & PAKISTAN".
I personally fee, India should make this agreement of N/deal at the earliest in the interest of Country. I may be incorrect, if our Hon'ble Kalam Saaheb is incorrect.
Hope, BJP & Congress and other good minded parliamentarians will help by supporting this agreement in the interest of People of India.
My best wishes to all.

Congress party brought down BJP's govt in 13 months without any reason, after that also can't make the govt, country goes to poll within two years. BJP govt's nuclear test also not supported by Congress. Now the want support from BJP for N deal. Why should BJP support sense less Congress?

The BJP is not fully against the deal, first you understand!! it wants to renegotiate certain class, but from first day onwards congress ignored the BJP even it did not include the co ordination committee, instead it included left.

the problematic area is the inspection of our areas even without our knowledge..

We want to develop our thorium, which cost is low and abundant in India. But America wants that India should lick them always for wanting of uranium!!

what will happen to our research till date? What about the mentality of our scientists? is it sin to develop something on our own?

In 2032 our power requirement is 8 lac megawatt and thru this deal we only get 30 to 40 thousands MW, then why so much hurry?

Omar Adbullah Minister of State of External Affairs of the then NDA government went to record in Big Fight, NDTV the following:

1. The NDA Govt was negotiating a similar treaty
2. The terms of which were perceptibly worse
3. Though the terms were perceptibly worse, the NDA was prepared to sign.

Further Talbot, US Ambassador at the time of the NDA tenure, in a book revealed, the NDA government had secret negotiations with the US to sign NPT, CTBT, viz. internationally agreeing to permanently give up our rights to test a nuclear bomb.

If Talbot's book is not believe, then there are official recordings of Vajpayee (1999) and Jaswant Singh (2000) speeches to the Gen Assembly of the UN. They promised uni-laterally and permanently that India would give up its right to test.

So who is anti-Hindu, anti-India? Who is opposing an agreement that is termed anti-Muslim and appeasing Mullahs. You might be a knickerwallah. But the doublespeak BJP speals for itself

Talbot was not US ambassador he was foreign secretary of clinton admin. Ignorant people are unfit for any comments. Omar Abdullah was never a part of any negotiation between USA and India during NDA rule. NDA has initiated strategic partnership with USA and not business deal. None of the leader made any claim of permenantly giving up the rights of N-bomb test and if they made what socalled patriots of congress were doing? Check Vajpayee's speech (however it was in 2000 and not in 1999 as you suggested) where he used word "Voluntary Moratorium" means delay or postponement by our own will and not on any condition-as this deal is imposing. India was willing to sign NPT and CTBT conditionally but openly unlike we are doing in now in the disguise of this deal.
