We all looked upto Mr Prasad to bring about a different persepctive to the whole debate and throw light on the subject.

Many people think that the present administrators or scientific community is only following the Government's line just out of protocol and without valid reason.
Mr A N Prasad being a former director, had an opportunity to show us the other side of the coin.
But he too have come up with an article that is too generic, shallow and simple arguments of a "commoner" that we read every day. Even few journalist would write far more "indepth" article on the subject and arguing far more convincingly either in favour or against the deal.

A huge let down by Mr A N Prasad.

What is shallow in it? He has given the facts, which he thinks r true.

See the facts. Also remember Enron. All people, including P Chidambaram, were crying for it. What happened? Who benefited, only some politicians got bribes.

When we expect an article on Nuclear deal from a former scientist, we expect a lot more in depth.

Mr Prasad should have left the business angle to any normal journalist.

He touches upon the issue in the last paragraph what has been told by "commoners".

A critical analysis from a scientist point of view is missing.

May be he just not have much to talk about.

And that's OK.
