Why is it that Indian diplomats, bureaucrats, politicians always dawn the attire and attitude of beggars when they go out on a mission for India? That is the reason that they come back with geals such as the 123-deal and also a refrain on their lips saying "this the best India could have ever got" or similar nonsence. OK, if this all you could ever get wht go to those buggers for any talks at all? Don't we have the self-respect to stay away from such humiliating deals and sir down by ourselves and come out with solutions to our problems, however strenuous and mind-racking the task may be? If we cannot find solutions to our own problems, then you don't deserve to call ourselves economic power or regional power or whatever. What we need is a leader of great vision who can inspire the nation to walk it alone on the lonely path to leadership in the commity of nations by our own grit, determination and super hard work. We don't need people like MMS, TPS and other so-called intellectuals.

IN any agreement you need to give 10% to achieve 90%. NO agreement is unilateral and India has got the best possible deal which is reflected by comments made by AJ Abdul Kalam, Anil Kakodkar and a strong critic of the Congress Brijesh Mishra.
Muralidhar you are talking like an ingnorant tart. its hard to have a deal with USA in the first place and if India has given 10% so be it. In the long run your children will bear fruits from the deal.

Communist always brand business as begging. They want local small industries to avoid begging to other big companies. They want every town, villages to be self sufficient with their small industries, farms, so that nobody is rich. This begging funda has been played by them for centuries. They even implemented it in russia and made it a bankrupt superpower by 1990. Now they are implementing this in India to make india bankrupt. Business is not begging. It is a transaction that benefits both the buyer and seller.

Do you think India is anything other than a beggar in this context of nuclear deal? I don't think so. When India has no nuclear fuel, when India's nuclear energy is totally dependent on other countries, do you have any choice? In fact beggars have no choice indeed.

Actually, begging IS a choice. It's only after this choice is made, that one becomes a beggar. The alternatives to begging are: Trading, selling services, theft and robbery, working for rewards by reporting unlawful activities, apprenticeship in a new trade etc.

mr.chakravathy, the nuke deal is no begging.india is severly in want of power sources and we can get power by nuke energy for which we have negotiated the deal with international agencies comprising so many nuclear technology cum nuke fuel possessing countries and USA.technology and knowledge are only there to be SHARED FOR COMMON GOOD.we live in a world where we have to GIVE AND TAKE WITH THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY.we all are INTER-DEPENDENT. IF MAKING-DEALING AND BARGAINING with others is begging, try living without that.IF SO, do not bargain vegetables please grow your own food,,grow your own cotton, weave using your cotton and stitch your own clothes,........etc .calling the deal begging shows YOUR IGNORANCE TO THE CORE. HAVING SAID THIS HOPE YOU READ THIS LEAVE ALONE UNDERSTANDING IT.
