The print and electronic media reporting that Muslims in general are against the nuclear deal is all wrong and malicious, and spread by media houses close to the Left & BJP.Being a Muslim, I am in total support of the deal, moreover ask any common man on the ground whether he is Hindu,Sikh,Muslim,Christian etc.he does not know a bit about the deal,he is more worried about the prices of cereals and vegetables which he consumes.Hence by projecting a footage of Muslim ulemas meeting Mayawati the media have concluded that Muslims are worried by the deal.I also have pity on the ulemas, who on one hand tell brother Muslims to bow before the Almighty Allah in both good and bad times, but they instead have preferred to bow before a wretched woman, who cares two hoots for the common man leave aside a Muslim.Also I would like to remind the media that APJ Abdul Kalam has given the verdict of the deal being in favour of India as an Indian not as a Muslim, because he might be a namesake Muslim, but he was not a practising Muslim.I have never come across media coverage of Kalam publicly offering Eir/Bakrid prayers,leave aside the normal Friday prayers.Eid/Bakrid prayers cannot be offered within the confines of Rashtrapati Bhawan.All eminent Muslim personalities around the world have always been shown offering their prayers, except Kalam.HENCE I WOULD CONCLUDE THAT IF THE NUCLEAR DEAL IS IN FAVOUR OF INDIA, THEN MUSLIM OR NOT EVERY INDIAN SHOULD FAVOUR THE DEAL.

Yes brother I am a sikh and I am in total support to all muslims. After all if india will progress we all will get benefit.
First we all are Indians and then some hindu, muslim or sikh.
I am in total support to you and this goes as an answer to those shit media persons who for the sake of selling do such kind of wrong practices.
I think we all should be in support of the deal and let us spread this message and if in case there are re elections let us support congress or may be BJP with full majority if they both agree to go ahead with this deal.

Nobody told muslims are against the deal.But Muslim league has expressed concerns over the deal and their MP E.Ahamed has been given instruction by the party to resign if UPA signs Nuclear treaty. What does that say opposition or support..?

Most of my Muslim friends think like that but it is unfortunate that the media which has stereotyped images project the Ulemas meeting the Maya and I am sure both of them have neither seen the draft or know much about it! What is saddening is a party like the Shiv Sena that supports the deal will vote against it to show solidarity with their political bedfellows! I wish they showed solidarity with national interests!

Most of the Indian (70% ?) live on less then a dollar a day Regardless their religion or cast they have more worry about meeting their 02 ends at the end of the day. They have no idea about the Nuclear deal or they are not bothered about electricity. Only problem is they vote for the party they are told to vote by their so called boss weather it is mulla, Maulavi, jamindar, Mukkadam, Asaram or aayaram etc
