25 times price rise in 17 yrs. In 1991, JMM MPs got just 1 crore each to save Narsimha rao led congress govt. Now this congress led UPA govt is spending 25 crores per head. Price rise everywhere even MPs cost terribly more...

With this kind of spending, the inflation figure will ramp up to 15% from the current 11 odd percent ! Added headache for Chidambaram !!!

Do you really believe that the UPA could be spending Rs.25 crores per fence-sitting MP for "buying" support?If that were the case then the MPs of the coalition partners would rebel for not getting anything in return for their loyalty to their parties!So, how many multiples of Rs.25 crores would it take to keep the entire flock together?The figure would be so huge that it could be unaffordable.So,I am skeptical of the touted figure.
