Pakistan was formed in a box called medieval Islam, so what is there about out of the box, between a flexible modern secular democracy with one law, uniform civil code and gender equality vis-a-via a rigid theocratic orthodoxy of - my way or highway. How do you compare? We are not even comparing apples & oranges here. Another Box comes Out Of The Box ... Christians are not in a Box, we believe in One-Law, Uniform Civil Code & Gender Equality -- like the civilized world all over does.

Does going to a mosque mean acting Medieval? Same rule should then apply to all Church, Mandir, Synagogue, Gurudwara, etc. goers. Christian's have own christian personal law, much like Hindus have HUF law and Muslims have Muslim Personal Law. But all these Personal Laws are only pertaining to personal and family lives and not to criminal activities. For more info, read wiki article on Indian Law. There is no Gender Equality in any religion. You have never heard of a Lady Archbishop or even a Lady head of any Hindu Math. Christian countries or so called Civilised Modern Nations are inherently critical of non-whites, Asian workforce invasion, Islam & Hinduism alike, you can have millions of examples of all these truths. I think you need to have a more clearer mind and open eyes before you make a comment.

Your comments show your hypocrisy like any other typical fanatic Muslim. Hence no comments. India is 50% Islamic country surrounded by fools. Muslims are stuck in the rut everywhere. AIMPLB against codification of uniform personal law New Delhi, Jul 7 (PTI) The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has asked the Government to reject any proposal to codify uniform personal law for all Muslims irrespective of their sect and school of Islamic jurisprudence. The executive committee of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board is totally opposed to codification of uniform Shariah law as it will empower the state to alter, change, amend, add and delete rules of Shariat, the AIMPLB said in a release here. Any such proposals are "ill-motivated, ill-adviced and these measures have been suggested to pave the way for enactment of Uniform Civil Code and to deprive the Muslims of their fundamental right to get family disputes settled according to the rules of Shariat", it said. This medieval mediocrity in the garb of "Pseudo" Secularism.

Very minutely observed farce. You first said that Muslims were against following Indian Law as they want their own personal law. Now you say that Muslims dont want same personal law for all muslims. Sharia is not a set of laws set in any book. It is an interpretation of various verses in the Quran along with similarity of actions in the Prophets life as interpreted by various religious scholar. I think that is too much for you to understand. But that is ultimate in democracy. The right to follow your religion in the way you interpret your religion. But that is not a concept you can understand. Because all other religions are too rigid which Islam isnt. We love to live in the Medieval times. But others live in either 2000 year old times or some even older.
