Manmohan is beyond the parochial communal feeling & hence must have felt it not necessary to consult Akali Dal on the N.deal.He just felt that Akali Dal is one of the several other political parties of the country to whom he need not accord a special status & treatment just because it belongs to a community to which he belongs. He is one of the refined politicians like Narsimha Rao,Vajpayee who never talk any thing ill of others nor favour people dictated by passions of caste creed religion.Akali Dal is thoroughly mistaken if it feels that he limits his outlook so narrowly to confide every thing to them on reason of just community. This, however, does not mean that he belittles his religion & community;he follows all the religious norms of his community in his personal life. The very fact that he continues to grow beard & wears turban is eloquent of his respect for his religion. This does not mean that he gets swayed away easily by considerations of religion or community. There are still people who are beyond such things & he belongs to that clan of secular people in the strict sense of the term. The critics may please desist accusing/abusing him with all the terminology often used to make fun of "sardarjis".We need to be decent in our expressions while we talk about decent people of national stature. One who indulges in it could be safely concluded as a critic lacking sense of objectivity needed by & expected of a civilised person.Let Akali Dal,therefore, not talk some non-sense.
