Whether the Minister would have commented like this, if Mayavati had not withdrawn support to UPA Govt ???

Yes you have a valid point. It is only a crokadile tear she is shedding. No real tears can come out any of todays polititians eyes. If it is real one, she is right. But unfortunately target is Mayamathi!!
