I am totally against the economic policies,minority appeasement politics,inept handling of issues of national importance etc of the UPA govt. But still, I wish that this Govt wins Vote of confidence in the Parliament and complete its full term. If the Govt falls, the economy which is already in a turmoil, will go go from bad to worse. Anyway, next govt will be decisively headed by either Congress or BJP and there will be very little role for regional parties.their blackmail politics will no more work in future.Electorate should vote tactically to keep away self-serving smaller,irrelevant regional parties .A stable, powerful govt at the centre will definitely help the economy and all-round growth.

Any party which has the largest no. of members in lok sabha should form teh government. This way atleast they can go ahead with their policies with full effect and without fear. This only will lead to some development otherwise these calitions will take toll on national development.

U WILL AGREE THAT GDP INCREASE FROM 2004 TO 2007 RIGHT.. DO U THINK IT IS BECAUSE OF CONGRESSS??? ANY COUNTRY NEED 3-4 YRS TO CHANGE AND GROWTH AND BJP DONE GOOD POLICY THNG IN 1999-2004 AND THAT GROWTH MAKE POSSIBLE

What the UPA achieved? Here's what Business Standard said:
"Start with the performance of the economy. Its growth rate last year has been upped from 8.7 per cent to 9 per cent, taking the average rate of growth in the four years of the Manmohan Singh government to 8.9 per cent. I cannot think of any other government that would not make a bit of a noise about such stellar success, and draw comparisons with the record of its predecessor (5.9 per cent over six years) — showing a jump of 50 per cent. Or take agriculture, whose annual growth during the UPA term has been 3.6 per cent — again a jump of nearly 50 per cent, and the best record since the 1980s."
