The issue of thr Nuke deal is a specialised issue, and it is very difficult for commoners like us to understand whether or not this deal is good for India. I am willing to buy the argument of our Prime Minister - after all he is the Prime Minister and should know what is best for India. But, the track-record of the USA, while dealing with other countries, is not too good. So, the doubts refuse to go.

Never be so confident. All Indians will be happy if the results of the deal are good. But, can the USA be trusted? Kalam examines the issue from a scientist's view - all very good. But is the deal safe diplomatically? Let's hope for the best.

I agree with MR Haramohan Ray.The only eternal friend of US is Israel. The other countries are to be discarded as soon as their use is over. This is the policy of the US. It will support any project as long it is beneficial for them. The same goes for the nuclear deal. We won't know when we will be ditched.SO it would be most prudent for MMS to consider this while negotiating with US. What is also so intriguing is that why is the Congress party moving on a fast track to finalise this deal even at the expanse of losing the government.. Maybe something fishy is going on.
