As one goes through the text of the India specific draft agreement, which the country will submit to IAEA, there is absolutely nothing that would stand in the way, either by way of restriction or limiting the country’s sovereignty in clinching the deal.
Now, India will have unlimited freedom to acquire nuclear fuel from the NSG for the existing reactors and new ones that are to come up in the country. There is a clear demarcation placed by India, to keep about half-a-dozen indigenously built reactors from the purview of IAEA. They would be fuelled by indigenous technology; most of them are fast breeder reactors, producing plutonium for our legitimate defence production.
The heartening part of the agreement is that India is recognised as nuclear state, with a freedom to explode a device whenever necessary. The agreement gives the country the freedom to approach any country, in the list of (NSG) Nuclear Suppliers Group; this paves the way for more flexibility and freedom in acquiring nuclear fuel.
Therefore, there is no reason for the Left or BJP to sulk, with regard to the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal.

- Kudos to brilliant Indian negotiators for bringing us such a wonderful negotiation in India's favour.
Thanks to our Professional Prime Minister and his team.
It shows why the Prime Minister and his team were so upbeat.
They went very professional about the negotiation and achieved a dream come true result. They showed professional maturity about it.
Even Sh Bajpayee had agreed thet this nuclear deal was good for India. But Advani & Co even shut Bajpaee up. After the initial statement in favour of the deal, he has kept his mouth shut till date.
How unfortunate!
BJP only knows the street politics.
I am sure they do not have the maturity and aristocracy to manage things at the highest level.
It is said, by all American negotiators and people who were close to NDA, that NDA's negotiation and achievement was not even 40% level of what Prime Minister Singh and his team has achieved.
I don't mind using harsh words for spineless Bajpayee who could not stand for his country.
